Privacy Policy

This Policy explains how TREND LLC (“Trend”), a limited liability company operating in Florida, United States, and the operator of yourtrend.ing and its business catalog portal, handles personal information in connection with those Services. This Policy covers the main website and business portal; independent retailers, Shopify, and other external services have their own privacy practices.

1. Information we collect

• Account and business information: email address, authentication identifiers, business name, website, role, team invitations, verification information you provide, and records of your acceptance of our Terms. Our authentication provider processes account passwords and session credentials.
• Catalog information: uploaded files, product identifiers, images or image links, descriptions, brands, categories, prices, sizes, colors, availability, store links, import results, and publication choices. Most product data is business information, but may include personal information you choose to submit.
• Connected-store information: the store identity, permissions, access credentials, and catalog data needed for an integration you authorize. The particular access depends on the permissions shown by that provider.
• Communications: information in emails, support requests, business inquiries, rights complaints, and recruiting inquiries or application materials that you send us.
• Technical and activity information: IP addresses, browser and device information, request times, pages or endpoints requested, error records, sign-in activity, and catalog or team actions captured by our services and hosting providers.

Do not put customer lists, payment details, government identifiers, health information, or other unnecessary sensitive personal information into a catalog upload. The current business portal does not ask for shopper payment-card details.

2. How we use information

We use information to authenticate users; create and manage business workspaces; validate, import, display, and update catalogs; enforce team permissions; review business ownership; operate integrations; respond to inquiries; record agreement acceptance; diagnose errors; prevent fraud and misuse; protect security; and meet legal obligations. We may use service activity to understand and improve reliability and functionality. Providing a catalog is not consent to unrelated marketing emails.

3. What is public and what is private

Published catalog information from approved businesses is made available to shoppers and may be copied, indexed, or cached by others after publication. Public listings may include product names, brand, descriptions, images, category, prices, variants, availability, and store links. Do not publish information you intend to keep confidential.

Account details, team permissions, invitation tokens, original uploads, import reports, and operational audit records are not part of the public catalog feed. They are accessible to authorized users, Trend personnel, and service providers as needed to operate the Services. A business owner controls which teammates have access within that business. We do not promise that any online system is completely secure.

4. When we disclose information

We disclose information to service providers that help us operate hosting, databases, authentication, email, networking, security, and support. Current infrastructure includes Vercel for website hosting, Supabase for database and authentication services, Cloudflare for domain and network services, and Google Workspace for business email. Connected Shopify stores interact with Shopify under the permissions approved for the integration. These providers process information under their applicable agreements and privacy practices.

We also disclose information to the teammates you or your business authorize; as you direct through publication or an integration; when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce agreements, address fraud or security incidents, or protect people’s rights; and in connection with a proposed or completed financing, merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, subject to appropriate safeguards and applicable notice requirements.

The current website and portal do not use third-party advertising pixels or provide a data-broker sales feature. We do not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices change, we will update this Policy and provide any legally required notice, choices, or consent before the new use.

5. Cookies and external content

We use cookies needed to maintain authentication sessions and interface preferences. Infrastructure providers may process technical identifiers for delivery, abuse prevention, and security. The current sites do not use nonessential advertising or analytics trackers. You can manage cookies in your browser, but disabling essential cookies may prevent sign-in or other functions.

Product images may load directly from retailers or their image hosts. Your browser sends those hosts ordinary request information, which may include your IP address and browser details. When you follow a store or other external link, the destination receives information according to its own practices. We do not control those services.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain account and workspace information while needed to provide the Services and for legitimate security, legal, and operational purposes. Uploaded source files remain until an authorized user deletes them or we remove them under our retention or account-closure process. Deleting a source upload does not delete products already imported from it. Unpublish products separately to remove them from the active catalog.

You may request account closure or deletion at daniel@yourtrend.ing. We will assess the request, verify authorization where needed, and delete or deidentify information that we no longer need and are permitted to remove. We may retain limited records needed for fraud prevention, disputes, legal obligations, agreement acceptance, or the rights of other users. Backup copies may remain until the provider’s normal backup lifecycle expires. Copies already obtained by independent third parties are outside our direct control. Retention depends on the type of information, the purpose for keeping it, and applicable legal obligations.

7. Security

We use access controls, authenticated sessions, role-based workspace permissions, encrypted connections, and restricted database access to protect information. Server-side integration credentials are not intended to be exposed in browser code. You should use a strong, unique password, keep account access current, and notify us promptly of suspected compromise. No security measure guarantees that information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or lost without authorization.

8. Your choices and rights

You can review available workspace information, manage team access if you are an owner, delete source uploads, and change publication selections according to your role. Contact daniel@yourtrend.ing to request access, correction, deletion, a copy of your personal information, or to raise an objection or privacy complaint.

Your location and applicable law may give you additional rights, including portability, restriction of processing, withdrawal of consent, or appeal of a denied request. We will assess and respond under the rules that apply to your request. We may need to verify your identity and authority and may be unable to fulfill a request where a lawful exception applies. You may also complain to a competent privacy regulator. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

9. International processing and legal bases

Our service providers may process information in the United States, Canada, and other places where they operate. Protections may differ from those in your location. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we will use an appropriate lawful mechanism; this Policy is not a substitute for a required transfer agreement.

Where a law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely as applicable on providing the service or taking steps you request before an agreement, legitimate interests such as operating and securing the Services, legal obligations, or consent where required. You may withdraw consent prospectively without affecting prior lawful processing. Where Trend processes personal information solely on a business’s documented instructions, any required data-processing terms must be agreed separately; these website notices are not a substitute for them.

10. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and business accounts are limited to adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided it, contact daniel@yourtrend.ing so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

11. Changes and contact

We will update the effective date when this Policy changes and provide additional notice or obtain consent when applicable law requires it.
